We are an all women collective with Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography. So, why Silver Water? Welp - silver has a long standing history in the processing of film - there may be gold in them there hills, but there is silver in them there photos! As for water, we are a collective of women in an ever-changing climate, we want to be flowing in creativity, refreshing to one another, and like a sprinkler on a hot southern Savannah day, just plain fun!

We met through online classes while pursuing our MFAs during the COVID pandemic. What started out as group supporting each other through the hurdles of grad school via Sunday night Zoom calls eventually evolved into the collective we are today. The purpose of our collective is to support women in the niche field of photography, to create community not confined by geography, background, or mindset, and to springboard ideas that motivate and encourage each other in our creative pursuits.
